To ensure the long-term stable operation of down-the-hole (DH) integrated drilling rigs, scientific and standardized maintenance is crucial. Good maintenance not only extends equipment lifespan but also effectively reduces failure rates and repair costs.
Before starting the machine each day, check the engine oil, hydraulic oil, and coolant levels to ensure they are normal. Also check the air filter for blockages and ensure the engine and air compressor are functioning properly.
Drill rods and drill bits are wear-prone parts and require regular inspection for wear. When drill bits are severely worn, they should be replaced promptly to avoid affecting drilling efficiency and hole position accuracy.
The hydraulic system is a vital component of the DH integrated drilling rig. Maintenance personnel should regularly check the hydraulic oil quality and the condition of oil pipe connections, addressing any leaks promptly to prevent system pressure drops.
Air compressor maintenance is equally important. Lubricating oil and filters should be replaced regularly according to the manufacturer's requirements to ensure compressed air quality meets construction requirements.
