On August 29, 2026, Junjin Heavy Industry completed the batch delivery of four 32-meter straight-boom aerial work platforms to a major shipyard. The equipment will be used for high-altitude work in shipbuilding and maintenance, where extended reach, stable movement, and reliable operation are essential.
Delivery and Commissioning Completed
Before handover, the Junjin Heavy Industry technical team worked with the customer's project supervisor to complete a series of on-site inspections and commissioning procedures. The process covered equipment arrival checks, overall performance testing, boom telescoping operation, and safety-system trials.
Operator training was also carried out during the delivery. Technicians explained operating procedures, emergency protection, routine maintenance, and precautions for working in different areas of the shipyard. This helps the customer's operators become familiar with the equipment before it enters regular service.
Built for High-Altitude Shipyard Operations
The delivered straight-boom aerial work platforms provide a maximum working height of 32.3 meters and a working radius of 18 meters. Their boom configuration allows operators to reach elevated and distant working positions with accurate positioning and controlled movement.
Shipyards often involve ramps, uneven ground, and large working areas. The delivered platforms can travel steadily on slopes of approximately 25% to 40%, making them suitable for dock ramps and other challenging site conditions.
In daily shipyard operations, the platforms can be used for superstructure assembly, hull outfitting, outer-plate rust removal and anti-corrosion work, steel-structure maintenance, and ship retrofitting. Their reach and mobility help reduce the limitations of conventional high-altitude equipment when working around large vessels and complex structures.
